Yesterday
We went to Cahoots and hung out for a while. Various people showed up, including HuckFinn, Generic, Duckling, ShortnTall, etc. I was mortified because I'd forgotten some promised photos and someone turned up to get them. Argh. Well, perhaps next time. I edited some more of Halloween, which is the ugly stepchild I keep under the stairs, as well as parts of the first interlude of Serenade of Blood & Silver, which is the child about to graduate from college. If not top of her class, at least with a solid 3.5 GPA.
Lots of coffee. Lots of cigarettes. Brilliant (maybe) idea! Masui is looking for screenplays. I have a story called The Radiator Burped which some people may be familiar with. It mostly takes place in one apartment, and might adapt well to a screenplay.
Afterwards, we went to the St. Clair Broiler for dinner and then loaded up our grill from Discoflamingo's old place (he recently moved) where it was left after we loaned him the use of it for his 4th of July party. We hornswaggled various people into returning to our apartment with us...
...where we watched Double Down, a Jason Priestley gambling guy movie (It distinctly lacks narrative tension, has a weakish plot, and suffers from a blatantly low budget, but yet will make most guy-guys damn near lose their shit laughing. Towards the second part of the movie, girls will also be entertained.) and Don Juan de Marco a damn sexy movie with Johnny Depp.

Need I say more? Well, it's touching and funny and a generally warm fuzzy movie.
And it makes straight/bi girls wet.
