Wall of Shame

Collected another rejection letter yesterday. It's very annoying, because The Seattle Review rejected "The Radiator Burped" because it was too long. They don't take pieces longer than 5,500 words. The story is about 9,000. Writer's Market listed their word count guidelines as up to 10,000.

Very annoying. I do try to submit my writing to appropriate markets. Otherwise, what's the bloody point?

I think I'll fire off an email to Writer's Market to let them know....

Two Things

1. Does anyone want a hardback copy of Terry Pratchett's Night Watch for the one-time only, low, low price of $16.99? (yes, I bought two copies, why?)

2. Does anyone want a wicker chair? Free for the taking, good condition, creaks alarmingly but hasn't killed anyone yet, small blue cushion also included.
