First Snowfall

In honor of the first snowfall, I am wearing my new Victoria's Secret panties with sparkly snowflakes all over them.

I encourage you all to do something slightly whimsical to celebrate--and tell me about it.

Piggies.

I only get them at Christmastime, and I love them. See also: date nut roll, lemon bread and ginger ale.

I was just referring to the fact that using food as a comforting thing isn't a good thing, but I do do it.

I think it depends on the extent and amount that one does it, like most things in life. A pan of brownies is a bad thing, but one brownie to celebrate a job well done is a good thing.

I agree with you, but I've been told that even one brownie sets a bad precedent.

Though, my body bears the traces of much "comfort food".

"Comfort food," I kind of have a problem with. "Celebration food," I don't. I guess that's because it's a lot easier to go overboard with comfort food--with celebration food, you're already feeling good.
