My Lame Ass Excuses Me

Yeah, I couldn't resist the joke.

Something low in my butt, between my left hip and my tailbone, has been paining me for days--since Thursday? Maybe. Not entirely sure. I know it wasn't hurting *before* last Thursday. It doesn't feel surface-level--it feels like a tendon strain or joint that's being not-quite-right. It hurts to walk, a bit, unless I remember to consciously relax my muscles between each stride, and that's harder to do than you think.

Anyway, I've learnt my lesson about working out when I've got a strain--doing so makes it much harder to heal.

That said, I'm irked. Heal, damn it! No more funnybone pins-and-needles when I'm trying to find a comfortable way to sit or walk!

*grumble*

It's not painful enough to be worth taking painkiller, and I don't think there's much inflammation (if I'd thought of this a day or two ago, now....). I was planning on going to Tae Soo Do right up until I grimaced walking upstairs because the movement tweaked it and I had a, "Shit, I probably shouldn't--" moment. I don't like those moments.

If I'm not noticing it so much tomorrow, I'll be back to normal physical activity.
