Type of scene: Mmm, body. Here's what the police of the future would do with a body, and here's their attitude to a dead hooker.
Challenge(s): This is my least favorite type of writing--the transition scene that feels kinda necessary (it would be weird if I left it out), but doesn't do anything important and isn't that interesting. At least it's less than 200 words.
Which line is it anyways?"I'll set the dog to do a routine, but if nobody saw anything--in this neighborhood, I doubt it--this one'll be on the boards for a little while, and then they'll box it up and file it away unless anything pops."
Notes: Didn't get much done, because I had to bus into downtown, buy a modem, bus back, install the modem, install the drivers, and do a ton of updates. Also, this is so long it's going to be an incredible pain in the ass to get it published. Even after lots of cutting.
