Thanks to those who were able to come to Phil's birthday party. I was amazed that so many people showed up given how late and lazy we were about announcing it, and people seemed to have a good time. Phil & I certainly did. Phil's migration from bed to couch this morning was barely successful, and as for myself, I felt quite proud when I'd successfully bathed, clothed, and fed myself. One has to have one's priorities straight.

Also, I have come to the conclusion that the best thing to drink the morning after is a two-thirds orange juice, one-third Sprite mixture. Like a mimosa, but without the pesky alcohol.
