The Last Ice Photos of the Year (Probably)

An odd pattern of melting and freezing caused these to form. Neat and weird; it looks like the log is about ready to suckle little ice-pups.



A very sad failed attempt at a bonfire on the banks of the Mississippi River. There are scorch marks on the bottom of the wood, but they're all iced over. Also, note the floating sheets of ice!
