It went pretty well! A lot of people showed up, including people who were total strangers (usually a sign that the party's going well). Catastrophic plumbing problems were not able to ruin the party. I'll call that a win.

Yes, it ended up being a success despite everything. There were some definitely iffy moments in there though!
