Halloween!

Fewer kids than last year, I think...maybe 30. However, almost all of them were in costume! I'll call that a win. The creepiest was the Burger King. The 4-y-o Wolverine was the best.

Meanwhile, we watched a bunch of horror movies, drank homemade hard apple cider, and life is pretty good.

I actually kept count this time - we got 32. Incredibly low turnout for our neighborhood!

Which, of course, means that we have way too much candy lying around.

My favorite this year was a tiger cub - he was about a year old, and completely adorable.

(BTW - you probably figured out why we didn't call back Saturday - it was 11:00 by the time things were sewn up.)

Yeah, I figured. I emailed Doc the next day and got confirmation that he would be okay, so it's all good.

What's up with Doc?

Also, my favorite of my night was of course, the miniture wonderwoman. But she was like 2 years old and adorable.

He cut his finger pretty badly when making his costume and had to be taken to the emergency room. 5 stitches.

All of our visitors were in costume, too! It was a first.

Also, no matter how much candy I suggested they take, they pretty much only took 2 or 3 pieces. We have a ton left.

Phil kept saying I should only hand out, "ONE piece!" I didn't, but we still have a ton left. I do not think he is displeased.
