4th of July, Kitten-Cloning, and Work
Jul. 6th, 2005 04:40 pmWorking full-time again, so I won't have much time for posting things here as my non-work time should be pretty much consumed by martial arts and writing. With a dash of CSI and, if my laundry's lucky, a smidge of cleaning.
I dreamt last night that I cloned the kitten. Dream logic: must not leave kitten alone => must take kitten with me to work => transporting kitten awkward => must clone kitten and take clone to work while leaving kitten home. Then the work ended and I had to decide which kitten to keep. It was in this agony of indecisiveness that I woke up.
A few nights ago, I woke up and said, "Bone marrow transplant!" The Muse said, "No, hon, time to go to work."
In other news, thanks to everybody who made it to the 4th of July BBQ. To those who missed it, whether because they were out of state or because other things came up (bar fights, kidnappings): sorry you missed it, hope you had a good time doing...whatever it was that you were doing.
There were fabulous fireworks later in the night, and much tasty food all day long. I have now tasted the Ultimate S'More: Girardelli chocolate, a grilled strawberry, three toasted marshmallows, and one graham cracker. To those who doubted my ability to consume such a creation while maintaining its structural stability, I say: "Ha!!"
