Writing Log: Catching Up On Markets
Oct. 25th, 2006 03:49 amTuesday, 10/24/2006, no work
* Updated markets spreadsheet from Ralan's Market Report
* updated website address for Paradox
* added Spinning Whorl guidelines, Ballista guidelines, All Possible Worlds guidelines, Black Ink Horror guidelines
* updated guidelines for Gryphonwood (no longer paying anything), Down in the Cellar (actual submission guidelines up), Ideomancer (pay rate increase), Escape Pod (holy shit rate hike, Batman!), Forgotten Worlds
* added anthology guidelines for Science Fiction Trails
* Discovered that I cannot upload my markets spreadsheet to share it with the world because Google spreadsheets does not support uploading spreadsheets of more than 50,000 cells. Stinky! Grrr. It's only 250 markets sortable by genre, wordcount, date updated, and pay scale.... Something I haven't found elsewhere, which is super-useful to me (even if I did have to create it my ownself). Something that I'd like to share. Eh. Guess I can do a workaround and put it up in a static format on the website eventually, with a link to download the more recent version...when I have time (cue canned laughter).
*
penthius freewriting: Empathy From the Pond Scum, low potential science fiction about the difficulties of being a killer cursed with empathy.
* recommenced work on "Police Bot" -- translates as mostly went holyshitwhydidIthinkIcoulddothisagain????
