Doctors

In the night, mischievous gnomes must have replaced my lung contents with moss green cottage cheese. It's the only explanation.

Doctors' appointments went well yesterday, though there was an hour wait to get in. Grr. I got to shock and awe the nurse with my blood pressure--82/52. My doctor, who is a very nice grandmotherly woman, says that everything is normal and I seem to have no problems. And my thyroid blood panel came back normal, so yay! (a couple of years ago it was on the dubious side) Doc prescribed me a couple of physical therapy sessions to get my strained/torn/cranky thigh muscle checked out, to make sure I'm doing what I should be with stretches and such. She also sadly said that antibiotics probably wouldn't help whatever cold thing I've picked up, but that I should try Mucinex for the cough...but preferably a generic of it, as she couldn't stand those ads. :) I like my Doc.

Then I went to Panera for lunch and took advantage of their free wi-fi. Resubmitted and tinkered with a couple of Guatemala photos for iStockPhoto.

The dentist's appointment also went well. I still have no cavities, and the hygienist said that if I didn't have them by now, I probably was in the clear. That would be spiffy.

Then I came home and collapsed on the couch. Really not feeling so well. Woozy and coughy and vaguely feverish at times.

Of course, work has dire need of me.
