Nov. 16th, 2008 10:58 amI am still sick. Where Phil was healthy by this point, for me, the cold has moved to my lungs, where it is not welcome. This is especially vexing because I am On Vacation, and want to do stuff, if only I had the energy.
But! I am On Vacation! It's been a while. (No, I am not counting a road trip to Kansas for my grandmother's funeral.) We are in Georgia. I will be checking my email regularly, and I also have my cellphone - 612-850-4498 - though I'm not sure how well it will work here. 770-541-9399 is the number for our hotel, and we're staying in room 160 if you want to get ahold of us.
We got through security okay, though the weight for my knee exercises in my luggage made my bag be pulled aside for a hand inspection.
It was the only flight I've been on where somebody got conspicuously airsick. Other than that it was fine. Standard no-leg-room, every-seat-taken, no-free-lunch. But they did have a sense of humor about it!
