Bus Stories
Apr. 11th, 2010 06:57 pmAs I write stories longhand on the bus, sometimes other things happen, and I write them down, bracketed by little lines or curlicues to indicate that they are not part of the story.
2/11/10
Heard and felt (minor momentum shift) an orange-red truck hit the back of the bus when we were almost stopped at the light. The truck passed on the left and then pulled over and came back to check with the bus driver.
02/12/10
Fascinating bus stop conversation overheard, a discussion of fines for shoveling out garbage, parked cars, etc. Chorus: "They be trippin'." Conclusion: "But it's they house." [referring to the City of Minneapolis]
