Ow. Yep, it's Christmastime in the City.

From the corner of my eye I can see Christmas lights and fir branches. My back, neck, and arms ache, but it was worth it. A couple of days ago, I got a Christmas tree! And since I don't have a car, I carried it a lot of the way. Let me tell ya, unless you're in shape (I'm not), it's kind of painful carrying a six-foot Christmas tree for about seven blocks by yourself. Everyone's got a lot of sympathy for you, though. I've been picking up an ornament or two whenever I left home; the only problem being that I neglected to pick up those wire ornament hooks. So I've got ornaments but nowhere to attach them. Tomorrow this will be fixed.
Today I'll make an attempt to compose the Christmas newsletter for distant friends and family. I've been threatening to send cards to people, but at this rate, they might get nice, non-threatening "Happy Spring" cards.
The kitchen smells like cinnamon and apples. The living room smells like Christmas tree. The bedroom smells like...well, dirty laundry, but that will be fixed soon. Soon it will smell like clean laundry. Then I'll have to buy a stungun to keep
gunn away.
Something about the way that girl sniffs laundry....
