Came home to a sad, sick husband who left work early. He is now curled up in bed going, "Meow, meow." Also, there was an unexplained strip of duct tape lying in the yard. Well, better than the unexplained bag of dogshit.

I've got several long posts brewing, but for now I'll just write a note to myself so I don't forget them:

4. What was 4? Ah, martial arts stuff. Y'all probably aren't that interested in reading about such stuff, but it helps me to track things.

I dropped a tube of pop-out cinnamon rolls, and they prematurely popped (scaring the bejeezus out of the cats). I cut off the bit that touched the floor and wrapped them in saran wrap. Now I wonder how often they "go off" in transit. I picture uncoiling spirals of cinnamon bun dough littering the highways of America.

Weather forecasters saying things like "5 above" in April is unacceptable.
