- 23:25 Ugh. New Gmail buttons are slower. Annoying.

Oct. 5th, 2008 11:22 pm- 03:16 Party died at 3:15 AM, due to tired hostess kicking people out after host collapsed prematurely. Am pleased with how event went.
- 03:23 I am exhausted. I should never mock Phil again for how wiped out he is post-party. He's usually the one with the up-till-it-ends duty.
- 03:23 Tomorrow, there will be Bacon.
- 10:23 Despite waking up at 9AM, am feeling okay due to painkiller. Copious amounts of water and bacon should complete the recovery process.
- 10:24 Later, there will be naps.
- 11:21 Hadn't even got to the bacon when I heard water noises in the basement. Good: not the sewer. Bad: 2" standing water I had to mop up.
- 12:06 Bacon, eggs, toast, and a slice of cantaloupe. Perfect post-party breakfast!
- 12:59 Basement flood chased a 4-INCH-LONG centipede up into our living room. Girl kitty was pissed when I took her toy away.
- 13:14 Good lord! It's a panda vomiting Flickr photos: ping.fm/biDMP
- 15:06 Phil roused just enough to stare blearily at the basement while I was mopping it up, and now he's napping again. Bastard.
- 15:41 Now have frozen 3 large jars of sumo soup, plus 2 of borscht. Wondering why my subconscious is encouraging food-hoarding.
- 16:16 Heh. We ended with roughly the same amount of beer in our fridge as we started with.
- 17:39 Dinner: sumo soup, buttered toast, and a Strongbow cider. Aw, yeah.
- 21:41 Oh, right. Sleep. I didn't do much of that last night.

Jul. 16th, 2008 11:05 pm- 06:52 Weather forecast + ominous clouds = not a good day for biking to/from work.

- 18:08 Computer is refusing to recognize my Sansa MP3 player => I can't sync to it. Which is pissing me off *beyond description*. It worked ...
- 18:32 Now MP3 player is working. I think. *But I don't know why!*
- 21:19 Overall a good day, but non-working technology pisses on the whole parade. I *hatehatehate* when things won't work right.
