"Police Bot" Writing Log

And I can't do the pretty progress bar because Zokutou is broken today. This makes Abra cranky. Abra likes pretty progress bars. Abra needs pretty progress bars. Give Abra pretty progress bars!

New words: 526

Overused word: respect
Gratuitous car make: Chevrolet
Type of scene: The passing of time and growing of respect (see, there's that word again!), followed by a murder report.
Challenge(s): Transitions. They're icky.
Which strangely difficult to figure out how to write line is it anyways? The driver-side door was open, and a woman's body slumped half-in, half-out of the driver's seat.
Notes: Am I producing anything readable here? I don't know. Only one way to find out--soldier on!

It's 12:17 and dinner is cooking in my slow-cooker. This makes me happy.

Among other things that make me happy is that I'm feeling fine again this morning, though last night I felt like I was about to die of illness. Very confusing, this.

I went to Tae Soo Do and stayed for two hours--regular class + boxing class. Felt fine before I went, but then started coughing and having dizziness and whatnot as soon as exercise was involved. Felt mostly better by the end of regular class, and so stayed for second class. By the end of second class, I felt like there should be a videogame indicator blinking above my head saying, "Power Dangerously Low. Must recharge." Then I pretty much coughed a lung out on my walk home. Engergywise, felt utterly drained, and was coughing on and off all evening. The Mad Scientist said that if it got any worse, I should go to the doctor to check for bronchitis, and that I was banned from martial arts class this weekend (Ha! There is no class this weekend! Fooled him.) Then I was fine again this morning. So my state of health is confusing me.

Poor A. She's like me in that she dislikes it when sick people come to class/work/etc. and she ended up partnered with me for the boxing class, seeing as it's usually rather small. And since I've only been making it to that class on and off, I don't have all the combos down yet, much less the ability to hold the targets for them when I'm 9/10ths dead. That must have been frustrating for her. I feel kinda bad about that; I like her.

There was more weirdness and flailing than usual in grappling, entirely my fault, but at least this time I didn't actually rip clothing off. (My partner said she'd done a lot of reinforcing stitching....)
