  • 22:53 Me: "Tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day." Phil: "I know. Tomorrow's a good day to get home and lock the fucking doors." #
  • 07:04 Yay! shirt.woot.com is having a "random shirt for sale" day! I am such a sucker for surprise random things. #
  • 08:51 Mailed off my CSA registration this morning. V. exciting. #
  • 11:19 Yeesh. News today is all economics, all depressing, all the time. #
  • 12:16 @FrankVanRad OMG, he gets the special boots to climb the walls! #
  • 12:22 @gorillagirl Don't forget all the ass-virginity that he saved! #
  • 14:05 I don't know how long the coffee was in the pot and that kind of scares me, but I'm drinking it anyway. #
  • 14:13 I am currently the only one of the floor. And *I'm* supposed to be the part-timer. This is just weird. #
  • 15:01 Probably no work tomorrow! Yay! (No day job work = much writing work.) #
  • 15:02 @gorillagirl St. Paddy's Day = no going anywhere near a bar. #
  • 15:06 @inktea The not going out is not because I think it's "lame and stupid", but because the crowds will be too crazy for me. #

Reasons that today was a good day:
*St. Patrick's Day! I love silly holidays. To observe it, I wore 10 green things.
* Shirt.woot.com had a "buy a bag of random shirt" sale. So I did. And now I can expect a random limited-design-run shirt in my size to show up in the mail in a few days.
* I mailed off the registration form for the CSA to the farm we chose. I'll get my first box of mystery produce on April May 8th, and I get bouncy-hyper with anticipation just thinking about it.
* I managed to finish off the last bit of work at my day job before I left, which means I won't have to go in to work tomorrow!
* Today was the first day that after working and commuting, my knee didn't bother me so much that I took a heavy-duty painkiller as soon as I walked in the door. This is a major improvement.
* New episode of How I Met Your Mother tonight! Funny!
*No AKs were involved.

I'm really quite fond of randomness! And receiving mystery packages! Which is why this is so cool (bonus points for the whole "experimenting with alternate revenue streams" idea), and I'm quite sad I don't have a hundred dollars to spare to sign up for a year. I can't really spare $10 just now for one month's delivery, either, but I'm super-tempted to go ahead and spend it anyway.

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it.

It's a neat idea, but I'm not sure there's much I don't post about.... I'll screen comments in case you're bashful, but I'm not sure--do those things become unscreened if I reply to them? Because that's kind of silly, but if I remember right that's how they work. So if you do comment and do want it to be screened, mention that and I won't comment back.
