We will be celebrating tonight, Wednesday, at the C.C. Club, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Please do join us. In his contrariness, Himself declined until 4 p.m. today to make any decision about whether there would be any celebration at all--and if so, of what type, where, and when (not just a matter of hours--a matter of tonight or this weekend!).

Phil, to the kitten: "It's my birthday; you can't bite me!" Intermittently, for the next several minutes: "Hey! My birthday!"
