Return of the Kittens

We have kittens in our backyard again, sheltering under the currant bush and venturing out sometimes to play in the tall grass of our yard. They are two adorably cute tiger stripe kittens. We think that their mother is Foundling's sister--no wonder she sees our yard as a safe place to have kittens. When she was little, we fed and watered her feral mother and the associated six kittens. This also explains why she has been killing things so ferociously; she has kittens to feed. They look like they're all healthy and well-fed, mama cat and kittens alike. Of course, our cats are now getting uber-territorial, sitting in windows, squinting suspiciously at bushes, and growling and hissing at shadows.

Stupid sight reading. It took me three tries to get "currant" instead of "current". Jokes about the ghost of bushes past spring to mind.

No, really, our landscaper just rotates bushes constantly. Isn't that how everyone does it?

I rotate my plants, but that's because they grow toward the window. Maybe they're trying to escape.
