It doesn't match ANY of those criteria...you know better. Stop spreading FUD.

Mine, on the other hand, does, and might, and the new battery is on the way.

Actually, I didn't know offhand if it matched those criteria...I was going to check. Now I don't have to! My laziness saves the day!

FUD? Fucked Up Disinformation? Fear UnderDog...?

Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

Trust me, if I ever hooked anybody up with a laptop with the potential of explosion, you'd hear from me right away.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it....muhahahaha!

Note to self: try to avoid pissing Chad off, as laptop might spontaneously explode.

Is your laptop the Midnight Bomber what bombs at midnight?

Just checking, baby. 'Cause, you know, it might want to be bad...

And the man said, "Do you wanna be bad?" and I said, "Yeah, baby! I wanna be bad! 'Cause I'm the midnight bomber what bombs at midnight, baby, yeah! Boom, baby, boom!

What? Surely I'm not the only one who remembers The Tick. Where's Loungeboy when you really need him?

'Cause I'm the midnight bomber what bombs at midnight is the only part I recognize....

Where's Loungeboy when you really need him? No longer in Kansas. Beyond that, location uncertain.

I was trying to reference Shaft, but I am not as skilled in this strange art called "the making of pop culture references" as many others.

Ah, so what you meant to say was, "Who's the smooth-typin' portable who gets all the Wifi? Damn straight."

As an accountant. I knew that.

But I don't actually know *where* that is.

Probability wise, even if you have one of those batteries it's still unlikely that it would explode - the best guess right now is 300 incidents out of a ton of batteries (that were used in lots of laptops, not just Dells, but Dell's been burned before on recalls).

personally, I'm just pissed I don't get a new battery for free.

But when it does explode, it seems to do so quite dramatically!

I do like the battery to my laptop where it is, though, so I'm glad I don't have to change it out.
