Tick tock.

Mission accomplished. Today after work I went to the post office and mailed off two manuscripts ("The Radiator Burped" and "The Perfect Costume") and my query letter (for Serenade of Blood & Silver, revised) to the agent. Ah. I also dropped off a roll of film at Target to be developed. It's a test. I'm also going to drop off a roll at Wallgreens. I'll see how the results are. Ritz does a good job but they're bloody expensive. York mail-order does a good job and is cheap, but getting back the photos takes forever.

Now I'm sitting back, having finished my repast of eggrolls and wine, and checking email, etc. My Dad's in Guatamala, and it sounds like he's having a good time. Soon, I'll be working on the chapter breaking and the chapter summaries. Soon, I'll run out of work to do on Serenade and have to get started on Vicesteed. Soon.

Tick-tock.

In the mean time, I'll wait for the rejection letters to return to me.

I never take pictures and for the time being I'm blaming it on the hassles of film - if I had a darkroom, or even a scanner, it might be worth while. Seriously considering a good digital camera (the medium ones suck)...

What's Pointy Teeth like? I like his work with My Scarlet Life, but never bothered ordering anything of his side-projecty stuff (though I guess it's or karma sutra are the main project now that MSL is defunct). I keep getting email from Preston Klik about upcoming shows, but they're all in the midwest, and mostly in chicago.

Um...what's Pointy Teeth like? Er. I'm bad at the whole analyzing-music-thing. I like it. It's electronicy, but has good drums 'n bass/guitar, uses looped samples a lot to good effect, dancy beats, good female vocals (some distorted, some not). It's hyper music.

Hurrah emusic (http://www.emusic.com).
