New wallpaper for the work computer. Chosen because of the brilliant colors, the prismatic effect of the raindrops, and the unsettlingly alien appearance of a marigold in macro.

I do, don't I? I think I like raindrops and dewdrops and mist in general...Flickr tends to filter up wet flowers as being more pleasing faster than wet other things.

It's a very specific term. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caustic_%28optics%29) Mostly I meant light being reflected by things, but this is close enough for government work.

Acid is also caustic, and it's not like I didn't think of that.
