A Relaxing, Productive Day

abracanabraThat's what I want this to be, and that's what I need. I've got today off work, after going for three weeks with only two days off (and yes, that includes weekends and Labor Day). I was actually able to sleep in until 9:30 this morning (clearly, I'm out of practice)! The air has a pleasant nip to it. When I have my study window open, I hear the leaves rustling in the breeze. I have hot Earl Gray tea to drink and a cat purring on my lap. I haven't yet done any Actual Writing (not counting the little snippet for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
penthius), as I've been busy catching up on market listings and submission tracking and printing out feedback for editing stories (tomorrow at Cahoots). I will get around to Actual Writing today, however...the poor little police 'bot story has been patiently waiting for me all this time, and I want to reward it. There's a lot of other writing-related-but-not-Actual-Writing stuff to do first, though.
