In Cahoots. Back room is currently populated by us and a bevy or two of cute college girls quietly and diligently studying. Most odd.

Now I contemplate the terror that is the editing of Vicesteed. For lo, it doth terrify in the extent of its awfulness, yet I feel that there might be something good there if I just do some drastic surgery....

I haven't gotten far enough in to really say if this is a good idea for you or not, but Katie's mom ended up chopping off the first 4 chapters of her last book. She needed to write them for her own sake, but they just weren't necessary to the story.

Gah! No, I don't think I can get rid of all four first chapters--the first one might go--at least drastic cutting to, oh, one page! Important things are being set up, though.
