Job #1 had a new project, which would start today, conflicting with when Job #2 was scheduled. So I rescheduled Job #2 to Friday, which they were pleased about because they'd have some projects for me to work on then, and then Job #1 got shifted back to Friday, so now because I rescheduled Job #2 to Friday, I won't be able to be at Job #1 for the first day of the project, which is when everything gets explained and all.

Huh. Well, back to the old project at Job #1 today, and then the Mad Scientist is going to drag me to a basketball game. Yup, against my will, though I don't care much either way, which is why I think somebody else should be going instead of me.

However! I have successfully ordered Astronaut's Ice Cream, one of my food weaknesses, online, and it will be arriving soon. I also resisted ordering an entire case for only $300 (saving $100), which was more difficult than you might think.

Alas, my mission to acquire boxed sweet lassi was still a failure.

Lassi's not hard to make, if you have a blender. If you want it I will send you a recipe.

I most particularly crave the boxed sweet lassi that they sold in India--can't remember the brand name or I might have better luck finding it here! However, I'd certainly welcome a recipe for making it at home, particularly since it's approved by somebody who's actually lived in India! (I've had a couple of experiences in the past with trying Americanized/spruced-up recipes that ended up tasting nothing like the real thing.)

Two Important Questions

From whence did you order said crunchy dehydrated delicacy? And do they have nutrition information available before you purchase?

Clearly, you are crazy. Have you ever tasted this wonderful stuff? It's crunchy and delicious (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astronaut_ice_cream).

It is simply freeze dried fat and milk solids.

I crave it desperately, which is why it's gross.

It's like ciggarettes, cocaine, gambling and prostitutes. Nobody can have just one.
