Whining.

This is certainly not the best Valentine's Day ever. I can't have hot, hot monkey sex, or even really cuddle, because my knee objects painfully to movement or being touched or being at an angle not between 5 and 95. I've decided that being able to take painkiller to sleep is important, so I can't have a glass or two of wine. I can't stand for very long, so I couldn't even make a tasty delicious dinner, and though Phil is making BLTs, that's just not super romantic. It will be tasty, though! I never like going out on Valentine's Day, because trying to find a restaurant is always difficult, and reservations, and parking, and...every simple thing is more difficult for me right now. And I didn't get fabulous presents to make up for it.

So all y'all better be having fun!

I'm not having fun either. I'm stuck in class, entertaining myself by reading LJ entries and twittering. And I didn't get any good gifts either.

I've always had pretty good Valentine's Days before...I think...actually, it's generally not really memorable...neither bad nor good.

I have officially boycotted valentines day since 1995. I have never budged from this. For the record, I met Fuzzy in (late) 1996, so it wasn't about her.

I had class all evening. In fairness, this involved fire and metal and high powered dangerous tools, which is my idea of fun.
