07/31/2009 - Friday. Recovering from knee surgery.
* Read newsletters until I was sandbagged by An Idea for an anthology submission, then continued later. Read Writing-World, Lunch Weekly, 2 Critters, 2 WritersWeekly, 2 FundsforWriters, 2 FFWSmallMarkets, Duotrope, and 2 Writer's Digest newsletters and updated market list from same.
* Started working around the new idea, seeing how the different bits would work. I'm going to be messing about with story structure, and an unreliable narrator, and readers' expectations, and all kinds of fun writerly tricks. In 4,000 words or less. Argh. Beginning to worry story will be too esoteric.
* Posted writing log.
* Sent out "Vicesteed is up!" email to the nice people who crit for me off-and-on.
