Holy shit!

Okay, somebody called my "If anybody donates this much I will come up with something awesome--something so awesome that I have no idea what it is yet" bluff.

Um.

Right. Need to come up with something really awesome.

Possibilities I've thought of that may or may not be included:
* A character that is not just named after you, but actually *is* you.
* Some ability to ask "but what happened next?" and get a story written in response.
* Original art--need to check with the actual artist about that--or at least signed, numbered etc.
* Signed rough draft pages?
* Special edition rough draft/finished novel? (Pg. 1 rough draft, pg. 2 polished novel, etc.)
* Special "art of CoBB" book
* Access to episodes/podcasts ahead of time, or special "side episodes" (This is also something I've thought of setting up for anyone who donates--at least for the next episode they'd get an email or something like it saying, "Go here for an early preview/special episode.")

So--any suggestions? What do you think the awesomest thing a writer can do is?

On a similar, but different topic. I've been meaning to ask: Is there a place to see how many people have donated and/or how much money has been raised? I think it would give the site a less of money into a black-hole feel. Not to sound negative, but people like to see thier donations add up and feel that they are a part of something. It would also be nice to see, for example:

Money raised: $2,500.00
Number of donations made: 100
Average donation: $25.00
See every donation, small or large, can make a difference. Thanks for giving!

...or something.

Also, in an additional marketing idea, maybe you could offer for people who donate $10 or $15 or more, that you would mail them a button (or 5 stickers to wear and share). The button could say the ever popular:

Fuck Cancer!

Or it could say anything you like, but it could have the web address on it.

I can think of at least one mutual friend between you and I who both have access to a button maker, and a reason to want to support cancer treatment.
