New wallpaper for the home computer. No time to analyze this 'un, but I do like it, and I may later....
New laptop computer wallpaper. The reflectivity of dew and raindrops is fascinating in macro. Something about this photograph makes me think of Christmas trees in a verdant jungle culture.
Nobody can resist tiny frogs.
That is all.
New work(2) wallpaper. As my username indicates, I'm rather fond of clouds, and I can't resist the fanciful nature of this photograph. It's very fairytale.
New wallpaper for the work computer. I like the layered textures of the background, the luminous quality of the model, and the surreal nature of the photograph. It has an interesting faux-tropical jungle feel to it. The only way I would improve this photo is by a) making the ladybug proportional to the butterflies, and b) changing the color tone of the model's shirt--it isn't quite the right shade to work for me, despite being obviously used as the basis for the background.
New wallpaper for my home computer, apparently continuing the gold-colored trend. Reason I like this? I love interesting lighting, and the transmutation of reflection has an abiding allure for me.
And the English Babelfish translation of the text of the photograph, which I also find amusing:
when we went to chiavari I and knows them the evening we exited with stéphanie, a girl of the banlieu rich (where little after they have taken house also topolino and pippo) that house had one over the cemetary to the end of the climb towards leivi. the evening we dressed ourselves like two whores, we say it, with improponibili, long dresses permanent with meches and under an intimate one orrido bought to the market that as well as nobody would have never seen we waited for that steph it came to us to take with its renault smoking isteriche and ripassando on labbra a stolen lipstick to upim the red varnish like the enamel that we had still fresh on nails seated on the wall behind the curve we waited for in means to the cassonetti. we exited on the road perfectly in time was enough to see the road in order to understand that the French was arriving: all it was illuminated of yellow.
I chose this photograph because it satisfies my urge for new places. My wanderlust is not *quite* this easily tamed, but it helps. The capture of rays of light in this photograph, along with the golden lighting of the buildings, contrasts nicely with the foreground framing of dark leaves, and the three buildings balance each other to create a pleasing asymmetry.
Man Mo Temple, Hong Kong.
New wallpaper for the work computer. I chose this photograph because the smoky texture of the air and the beams of light contrast well with the lines of the...prayer-baskets (?)...hanging from the ceiling. And the distant light makes it appear that I have another window through my computer screen.
New wallpaper on the home desktop. This one is just neat. I like reflections as a rule, and this particular example reminds me of the glass paperweights that I (would like to be) collect(ing).
New wallpaper for my laptop. This one appeals to me because, well, I have a weakness for the transmutation of undesirable objects (mud, a puddle) into beauty. In this case, through reflections and light.
New wallpaper. Purty. I wish the photo extended a bit lower on the screen, but the soft background is very restful.
New wallpaper for my laptop. I love the high detail of this, and the industrial/flowers contrast.
